Rovato: 1,5 million Euro between public and social private citizen to recover within 2009 Villa Cantù
One million and a half Euro, children of a collaboration between local companies and social private citizen, will take out at the deterioration the rovatese Villa Cantù of the Mountain Orphan.
Within 2009 the building subjected to the ties of the Supervision of the Fine arts and already residence in past of the poet Caesar Cantù, will hold in a wing 7 protected small apartments, for a total of 14 psychic invalids, assisted by specialised staff who will aim at their social inclusion.
Another half of the structure, put in half of the slope that unites the Sanctuary of Santo Stefano and the Convent of the Announced one, will be used instead as common use with spaces for meetings and associations of the territory. With purpose in March, the communal Rovato advice has given the free road to the convention between the administration franciacortina and the co-operative social "Isparo" of Free court. According to the agreement signed by the mayor, Andrew Cottinelli, the co-operative will have a maximum of five years to complete the whole course of the works: a time limit rather wide, thought as the archetectonic value of Villa Cantù and ties that the Fine arts of Brescia have in being in the area. In fact, Isparo and the Municipality of Rovato count of ending as soon as possible, since the Supervision has already approved the preliminary project of the work. According to the Municipality, 2008 it will be the year of the works, and in 2009 the structure should be operative.
From the financial point of view, Isparo will have to find 1milione and 140mila Euro. 100mila Euro will arrive to the Municipality (50mila undergone and 50mila with purpose it works), while the rests 260mila Euro will be financed in all probability through a special regional ban. In change, Isparo will realise – always at one's own expense – a “Village Welcome” for persons with psychiatric pathologies, and will manage it for 50 years. Between 14 hosts selected by a team of whom it will be part between others also the Asl of Clear ones, the precedence will be assigned to citizens rovatesi and, in second beat, to the residents in the district “Oglio West”. In the second wing of Villa Cantù, that one dedicated to the social one, will be at last a point sale where Isparo will show the wine and the oil produced in adjacent frugal Cantù (the same co-operative social franciacortina manages in fact the public green area further 40mila square metres put between the Villa and Santo Stefano).
The zone left at the carelessness of the time 1976 and theatre a ten of years ago of an ugly history of blood, has been completely recovered in consequence of first convention between Isparo and Municipality dated in December 2005, and now he holds a public park, a vineyard and an uliveto.

The green long public, the large square and the illumination of the Convent, the organisation of the cobbled slope and the restored connections the irrigation ditch with Coccaglio: thanks to the collaboration between public and social private citizen, now the relief franciacortino can call itself finally guided for a complete enjoyment from all the citizens of Rovato and of the West of Brescia”.
