Cogeme given in Franciacorta Manitonquat: an Indian for the “Circle of the Land”
He will be Manitonquat, an Indian test of the tribe of the Wampanoag, the speaker of exception of the meeting “In the circle of the creation. Education and wisdom of the people Nativi”, promoted at the Foundation Cogeme Onlus's for next November 10 to Castegnato (Brescia).
Manitonquat, whose name means literally Medicines Story (the history of that he treats), will carry some personal reflexions on the authentic depth of the report that ties the man and the land in the culture of the American native people. His precious intervention will offer some reflexion cues turned to pick up useful suggestions to be applied in the direction of a sustainable development, from an adequate attention to the education, first step to build a better future.
Manitonquat, spiritual head of the tribe Wampanoag (Boston), teacher and storyteller, has been invited by the Foundation Cogeme Onlus like representative of a millenary wisdom at which it is still possible to draw absolutely present teachings to put in practice the fundamental beginnings from the Paper of the Land.
On Saturday on November 10 from the hours 9.15 the civic Castegnato centre will hold the meeting “Nel Cerchio of the creation” that is included in the Italian week (9-14 November) of celebration of the decade UNO on the education to the sustainable development.
