In early August, on top of the mountain Orphan was built a trellis to use radio transmissions. In the weeks that preceded the construction many people asked me why the construction of the basement and I always told them that this was only the movement of antenna on existing public land. The reality was quite different: an ugly new trellis.
I state that the responsibility for this decision is unfortunately my Government and in our role as we have the power to authorize or not authorize the trellis, regardless of everyone, except the mandatory opinion of the Superintendence of environmental assets of Brescia.
I try briefly to reconstruct the facts.
About 4 years ago the owners of Radio Montorfano (RMO) of Rovato have received eviction by the owner of the old antenna that since 1980 is located next to the monument of the Alps. On the same antenna had placed the radio to alert the Rovato and those Cogeme. As far as we are concerned we were able to move our radio, while RMO was supposed to stop transmissions.
I could pretend to nothing and let the antenna be removed sooner or later, but throughout my mandate I have always tried to find solutions to problems that I have been without too many calculations.
In fact I felt strategic Rovato to maintain one of the few radio stations authorized by the Ministry of Communications in view of the increasingly frequent in the lives of the citizens of radio frequencies (for example over the radio, the next Wi Fi and ADSL circuit video) Not actually want to force the closure of the radio station Rovato, even if privately owned, and I attract the idea of putting in accordance with certainty the antenna in terms of emissions, such that in Brescia prohibit Maddalena strolling in the area of satellite wild, while our Monte today is absolutely safe for everyone and at every point, I wanted to maintain and enhance the public use of antenna (in addition to the city could host such as bridges radio Province, Police, hospitals and ambulances, all the national Civil Defense at no cost).
