Saturday, February 2, from 9.30 to 12.30 at IseolagoHotel Iseo, will be held the final meeting of the Sustainable Project Franciacorta, the path of sustainability for the future of the territory Franciacorta launched in June 2007 by Cogeme Onlus Foundation in collaboration with 20 Franciacorta common with the sponsorship of the Territory Departments of the Province of Brescia and Lombardy Region.
The Onlus Foundation Cogeme as part of activities to support governance of the territory, has designed a project to decline environmental sustainability in local communities with the aim of building a service to municipalities.
The purpose of the meetings, spread knowledge of procedures for Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and build a framework of priorities in the environmental field by transposing the environmental guidelines for the establishment of land-use planning tools (plans of the Territory Government).
The direction of the project was entrusted to prof. Maurizio Tira, Professor of Technology and urban planning at the University of Brescia.
In addition to municipalities, which have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, including institutional bodies have decided to share this path: either the Department to the local area, Parks and VIA of the Province of Brescia, both the Department of Land and Urban Planning Regione Lombardia , Who intend to use this experience as a reference model to identify environmental indicators in strategic medium-sized municipalities.
The final meeting is intended to serve as the final document of this route, which has helped to identify some environmental indicators for the shared area and question the "voices of the territory" (entrepreneurs, institutions, third sector) on the future of Franciacorta in its various aspects - Economic, environmental, tourism, infrastructure, cultural, scenic) - from the priorities identified by local administrators.
