Fra pioggia (continua e sottile, come nella peggiore della previsione), crisi del settore (500 bovini in fiera rispetto ai quasi 1000 del 2007, molti assenti per colpa i blocchi sanitari imposti dalle autorità in seguito alla nuova malattia zootecnica detta “Lingua Blu” ) e un numero di visitatori sotto la media, quest’edizione di “Lombardia Carne” non passerà alla storia come una di quelle da non dimenticare. But under the big top, well, the sale of food products from across the nation was a true spectacle.

Visitors of the fair: about 5mila tickets sold, more gift cards between two thousand (farms, sponsors) and those who do not pay (children and visitors on Saturday and Monday): Total 7-8mila.
Last year: 10 thousand.
Cattle 2007: 1000 (more or less)
Cattle 2008: 500 (more or less), many absent because of charges imposed by the Ministry of bluetongue "blue tongue".
In a difficult, we can say that Sydney Carne "held well", thanks to intelligent choices of the organizers (diversify products - tourism, food and wine, cattle, sheep, horses, etc - is always a good thing).
